LPG Conversion

With the imminent increase in diesel fuel costs for the leisure boating industry LPG powered petrol boats will undoubtedly become a preferred option to the more expensive diesel powered boats.
LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) is a clean running efficient and much lesser priced option to petrol with only a 5% VAT rating and is a preferred option to petrol by the environmental institutes, currently averaging a price of 45p per litre, along the South Coast of the UK.
The electronic management system constantly monitors the engine bay and fuel storage tank areas for any leaks and will shut down the system before they reach a dangerous level.
Cleaner running; exhaust fumes and smoke are substantially reduced.

The company we use have been involved in the introduction and development of the use of LPG since 1988. There installation is of the highest standards with safety being present at all times.
There is fuelling of LPG on South Pier, Torquay Harbour.
Under the control and watchful eye of Hamble Marine Ltd any petrol driven marine engine can be converted to run on LPG giving a substantial long term saving on running and service costs. LPG is currently less than one third the price of petrol.
