We also cover: Marine electronics GRP Repairs | This is just an introduction to tell you a little bit about who I am. My name is Mark Taylor and I am the son of naval personnel, attended naval boarding school, and started own business working on boats at 18 after college. After a few years I went to the Virgin Islands and worked, then eventually ran a large charter fleet whilst rebuilding my own Endeavour 40 yacht which I rescued from the local yard! Then cut my teeth in the super yacht world on both power and sail, sailing around and across the north Atlantic and Americas'. Returned to the UK and emulated my father with a term in the Royal Marines after which playing on boats seemed far more attractive! For the past eight years I have been giving private tuition as well as providing tuition for new owners for Princess and Sealine powerboats. On top of this I do many deliveries both locally and throughout Europe from the Baltic to the Med and all points in between including the European inland waterways. I've amassed around 80,000 nautical miles (so far!) and am qualified up to Ocean Master with D.O.T commercial endorsements up to 200 tones. I can also certify up to R.Y.A Coastal Skipper including ICC. Thanks for reading and I hope I can be of assistance in the future |
